Custom Weathervanes
Our custom weathervane reputation was built around our unique and often whimsical weathervanes available by commission only. For almost 50 years and for hundreds of clients, the Tuck & Holand studio has represented the finest in craftsmanship, creativity and conservation of the almost-lost art of copper repousse.
Each weathervane design is completed entirely by hand using the copper repousse technique that includes hundreds of hours spent sculpting, braising and finishing. The cardinal points are handmade and often thoughtfully designed to extend the concept of the weathervane itself. A fully functional work of art, the finished weathervane is stamped with the AE Holand mark. It then joins a long list of valuable, heirloom quality weathervanes around the world mounted on rooftops, and most recently displayed indoors.
